The role

As a Project Engineer (Mechanics), you are responsible for designing, assembling, and implementing customer-specific mechatronic systems. You work with our own machine portfolio as well as components from external suppliers to create tailor-made solutions for customers in the animal nutrition industry.

From the very start, you are closely involved in the project and play a central role within the project team. During the execution phase, you are responsible for the complete technical integration of the system at the customer’s site. You work intensively with other technical disciplines such as software, electrical engineering, and project management.

What you will do at KSE

You design customized solutions based on customer requirements, using our standard systems as a foundation. You coordinate the procurement process for mechanical components from third parties and ensure that all technical subsystems are properly aligned and integrated into one fully functioning system.

You oversee the quality, safety, and technical execution of the projects and are involved in assembly – both in our own workshop and at the customer’s site. During installation and commissioning, you support the supervisor on location. You maintain frequent contact with customers, both digitally and on-site. This means you are involved from start to finish, from the initial design all the way to the final commissioning of the factory.

Who you are

We are looking for a practical, hands-on professional who knows how to get things done. In addition, you bring:

A completed bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
At least five years of experience in designing and integrating mechatronic systems, preferably within machine building or industrial automation.
Knowledge of CE Machinery Regulations and safety requirements.
Experience with construction techniques and 3D CAD software, such as Solid Edge.
Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English; other languages are a plus.
Strong technical insight, a structured work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
The ability to interact easily with colleagues and customers at all levels.
A sense of ownership and responsibility for your projects, always finding the right solution.
Residence within reasonable commuting distance of Bladel.

What we offer

As an employer, we offer a professional, supportive, and stimulating environment where your talent truly makes a difference:

A position within a company that is small enough for short communication lines and personal contact, yet large enough to make an impact, holds a strong market position, and offers plenty of growth opportunities.
A competitive salary
Laptop and phone
27 vacation days and 13 additional leave (ADV) days.
Enjoyable social activities such as our annual pub quiz and Christmas event.
