In January, the Dutch trade magazine for the animal feed industry De Molenaar, published an article about the plant modernization of compound feed manufacturer De Heus in Utrecht. For this project, KSE supplied a unique design for the silo filling process and bulk outloading. Finished product silos can be flexibly filled with the ALFRA Bulk Batch Transfer, resulting in significantly lower costs. In addition, this system guarantees that the filling of all finished product cells proceeds with low contamination, without restrictions from crossing production lines to all destinations within the factory. As a result, the bulk outloading line has significantly fewer moving parts and maintenance points, and the stock in each silo is accurately weighed and therefore always accurate.
