The role

As an Area Sales Manager, you are part of the Sales team and responsible for selling CAPEX products within the Benelux region. These products range from individual machines and process lines to complete plant systems. Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships is essential in this role.

From the first customer contact up to the handover of the order to the project team, you are responsible for the entire sales process. You will be supported by a team of technical and commercial specialists.

You will start with a comprehensive onboarding program that will familiarize you with our products, services, and markets. During your first customer visits, you will be accompanied by an experienced colleague who will continue to support you through key stages of your projects.

What you will do at KSE

You bring together the right people – both internally and externally – to successfully deliver projects. Within customer organizations, you operate smoothly at various levels and act as a strategic long-term partner. You maintain existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Together with your manager, you develop the annual sales plan and ensure its effective implementation.
By investing in strong, respectful relationships, you continuously work towards optimal customer satisfaction. You will regularly travel within the Benelux region for customer visits and trade fairs. You take charge of final negotiations and oversee the completion of deals – always with a focus on achieving the best possible results for KSE.
In addition, you translate market developments and customer needs into concrete proposals that support our product development team.

Who you are

We are looking for a hands-on professional who knows how to get things done. In addition, we expect:

A bachelor’s degree (HBO), or equivalent level of working and thinking), preferably in Technical Business, Commercial Economics, or International Business.
At least five years of experience in machinery sales; experience in industrial automation is a strong advantage.
An outgoing and social personality, with the confidence to strengthen KSE’s presence in the market.
A self-driven, proactive, and well-organized approach to work.
Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Willingness to travel frequently within the Benelux region.
A valid category B driver’s license.
